Communication subsystems, as part of the National
Monitoring System, contain the telecommunication network between NCC
(National Control Center), RMCs (Regional Monitoring Centers) in
different cities of Turkey, RRSs (Regional Remote Stations), TRRSs
(Transportable Regional Remote Stations) and all mobile stations.
Telecommunication networks are given below:
· TURPAK X.25
network for the connection between RMCs & NCC,
· Digital
radiolink communication network for the connection between RMCs &
RRSs,
· VSAT satelite
communication network for the connection between RMCs & TRRSs,
· VHF/UHF
wireless systems for the conncetion between RMCs and mobile units,
The planning, design, installation, testing and
maintenance of the communication subsystem of the NMS Project are
performed by ERE.
